Louisa Krause was born in New York City. She is most famous for her role as Anna Garner on the TV series The Girl Experience. Brenda Woodberg, her first movie appearance, was in Babysitters. Krause was a drama student in college and then appeared in numerous off-Broadway productions while also playing in the New York-based networks TV series. The family of her parents are both American. Nathaniel is Nathaniel's younger brother and is a successful director. She found her interest in the arts at a young stage by attending the Washington School of Ballet in Washington D.C. Once she began high school, dancing took a back seat when she began to perform in Henry Krieger's Bill Russell's diverse musicals and plays such as Side Show as Violet Hilton. The school she attended was the Carnegie Mellon Drama School after high school. After a short time, Krause decided she was ready to begin her professional acting career. Her Equity certificate was obtained from the performance she made in Aida the Musical. The career of Louisa Krause began with theatre. Her debut came in 2006 at the Huntington Theatre Company. The production was Iphigenia for the Signature Theatre Company's Iphigenia 2 in 2007.
